As a driven, enthusiastic and ambitious Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a team working on state-of-the-art projects. These projects are carried out on-site with our customers in the High-Tech industry, or take place in our own offices. Our projects cover the entire process, ranging from the definition of requirements phase with the customer to delivery, which requires the necessary expertise in one or more programming languages for embedded environments and development platforms such as Linux, Windows, Android, VxWorks and QNX.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll have a diverse position, which involves working on various challenging projects for the Cure & Care, Imaging & Controls, Mobility & Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics and Research clusters.
Within Topics, we take an Agile approach to our projects, which means you’ll start off the day with a stand-up meeting with your team and have weekly or bi-weekly sprints, depending on the project. You’ll have your own responsibilities within the team and you’ll be free are able to schedule your own work day day and your work as you see fit. In addition to technical competencies skills, an Embedded Software Engineer at Topic must also have good communication skills, because you’ll have direct contact with our customers.
